So Long

A musical collaboration between two cousins,

Nicholas Fasullo and Nick Palazzo.

They were born and raised in Nottingham, England and were children of the 1960s,

an exciting time of discoveries, trends and fashions in the UK.

Of Sicilian and Italian heritage, with so many diverse influences all around,

they first started playing music as children on the piano and soon progressed to the guitar and piano accordion.

In 1974 Nicholas along with his family emigrated to Canada.

Despite the distance and the 5-hour time difference, their passion for music and the close family ties continued to keep them in close contact. Eventually, they were reunited in person in the 80’s, and from then on taking any opportunity to travel back and forth between the UK and Canada.

Their love for music and their determination to write together and create their songs was born.

Many transatlantic trips later, their collaboration has now spread

over the best part of 45 years. accumulating a catalogue of music,

most of which, has never been heard before.

Sadly, in 2019 Nicholas was diagnosed with cancer, a fight he lost in 2022. 

 

The Promise:

In final conversations with Brother Ross and Cousin Nick, a promise was made —

a promise to master the songs and release them to the world. 

And here we are.

The start of fulfilling that promise.
